John and Sarena have been active in the real estate industry since 1991.  They started their career in real estate working as sales agents for Century 21 Allstars in Norwalk.  They achieved centurion status in the Century 21 system ($150,000 gross closed comissions) for the first time in 1992 and exceeded that level of production for the entire seven years they were affiliated with Century 21.   

In May of 1998 John and Sarena founded Centerpointe Real Estate, an independent residential real estate brokerage located in Norwalk California.  The company was started with two agents and their mission was to train and develop real estate agents to succeed at a high level while doing business in a highly ethical manner.  The philosophy of the company was grounded in a "teamwork" mentality where agents were encourage to share ideas and techniques that  work in the marketplace.  In addition, escrow services were added as a component of the Real Estate Business in 2001.

The office has occupied its current space of 1,800 square feet since its opening.  By the end of 2003, Centerpointe had grown to over fifteen agents who produced over $1.5 million in gross closed commissions in 2003.

In late 2003, John and Sarena began researching real estate franchise opportunities in order to expand.  After careful research, they felt that Keller Williams was the best choice to help them grow and reach their potential.  The Keller Williams model aligns perfectly with the goals, mission, and philosophy of the owners of Centerpointe Real Estate.

In September 2004, John and Sarena were awarded a Keller Williams franchise for the Norwalk/La Mirada area.  The immediate need for the new Market Center was to set up a new larger office of 5,000-6,000 square feet within their territory. 

Presently John and Sarena are in the process of expanding their office once again.
